It feels like I struck gold with this SUV. I was vacillating between the 4Runner, Pilot, and Highlander. The Highlander is built on a Camry chassis, I was told, it wouldn't surprise me, it drives very smoothly, comfortably and quietly. I have a 99 4Runner with 280K miles on it, so it was hard not to get another one. But, the Highlander won me over. Great seating space, style, comfort, safety, good V6 and the XLE has a sunroof, leather seats, seat warmers and captain's seat in the 2nd row. I am looking forward to more road trips to come!…

Drives like a beauty and very comfortable and spacious. It’s front row seat has 4 more inches of leg room than the Honda Pilot so if everyone moves up a few inches in the front and middle row there is plenty of leg space in the 3rd row for even adults. Furthermore, the Highlander has a power mode which is easy to turn on every time you start the engine on the middle screen which gives you more power and downshifts quicker from stop signs and the accelerator becomes light as heck. I drive it in power mode most of the time and am still getting the same great average gas mileage (34 mpg on the freeway and 20 mpg on the street) as I don’t drive it like a sports car. It has plenty of storage and seating room(wide seats) as well and the steering is smooth and the cabin is so quiet even in the freeway. I highly recommend it for its all around quality and Toyota dependability.…
All is Aweome but the Voice Recognition/NAV a ZERO

The ride, power and technology is awesome. But like I said in the Summary, I give the the Navigation and the Voice recognition a big fat 0 out of 10. I thought Siri could be bad, this takes bad to another level. NAV never takes the route that my phone gives me, not even close. My brother and I both bought a new Toyota about a week apart and the experience is the same for both of us, so much we joke about it on the phone because he lives 500 miles away. We will be in our SUV and say listen to this. Directions to main st Columbus Ohio, it will come back and say finding a doughnut shop closest to you (just an Example) We have both trained and retrained the system but owell we both have smart phones to rescue us and that isnt why either of us bought our SUV. I would buy it again even with the short comings of some of the techy stuff.…
